Mr. Lossie is a seasoned international Telecommunications Executive with over 30 years of experience in the industry, in the areas of strategy, commerce, finance, and technology. Based on his leadership skills, he has been building a track record in driving growth and strategic transformation. That includes the successful commercial launch of new mobile operators in crowded markets, the commercial re-launch of mobile operators with declining market share, structural revenue acceleration within a large mobile telecommunications group, the development and launch of customer value propositions targeted at High Value Customers and Youth, as well as driving Digital Transformation and Analytical Transformation.
Mr. Martin Lossie has held senior leadership positions in telecommunications with telecom operators such as MTN Group South Africa where he was Group Executive for Pricing and Global ValueProposition, VEON where he was Global Head of Strategic Pricing, and KPN wherehe was Director for Strategic Innovations. Before that, he has held senior leadership positions in management consulting in telecommunications with Capgemini C4, IBM Global Services, PwC, Cluster Consulting. He started his career in product management with AT&T Network Systems.
Mr. Martin Lossie has extensive international experience in telecommunications, also in emerging markets. In Africa, Martin Lossie has been working with Operating Company teams to drive and lead transformational change in markets such as South Africa, Nigeria,Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Uganda, Benin, Algeria, Zambia. In addition to this, he has been working also with teams in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ukraine, Russia,Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and several European markets.
Mr. Lossie is a product of the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where he holds an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, with Telecommunications Engineering as a major. In addition to this, he holds Executive Qualifications in Data Science from Cambridge University in the UK, and Financial Management from Institute De Baak -Netherlands. He also holds numerous certifications in project management, business case development, customer experience management, people management, change management, strategic pricing. Mr. Martin Lossie is a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa, and also a member of the Institute of Business Advisors South Africa
Mr. Isaac Armar is the Head of Commercial Business overseeing Enterprise Business, Customer Care, Marketing, and Sales & Distribution.
Mr. Isaac Armar is a senior professional with over twenty (20) years of work experience, including 15 years in leadership roles - from insights generation and designing strategies to developing and deploying business solutions and driving revenue growth.
He has worked with three (3) of Ghana’s Telecommunication giants from 2007 through to 2019. At Vodafone Ghana, he worked as Head, Customer Value Management as well as Head, Research and Insights. At Airtel Ghana, he served as a Zonal Business Head, Head – Value Added Services & New Product Development, Head – Consumer Marketing as well as Head-Insights and Market Planning. At MTN Ghana, he was a Research Manager for a year.
Mr. Armar’s notable achievements over the period include growing the user base of Vodafone Cash by 59% within six (6) months and providing commercial leadership in the launch of their 4G network within hundred (100) days from approval of license. At Airtel Ghana, he grew data revenue and mobile money usage by 15% and 2% respectively and delivered 60% of Airtel’s gross revenue in the 2012-2013 financial year, moving Airtel from number four to three in revenue market share. At MTN, he established the unique selling points for usage of Mobile Money– helping to gain market acceptance at launch.
Mr. Armar holds an M.Phil. Public Administration and Organization Theory from University of Bergen, Bergen, Norway, a B. A. (Hons.) in Political Science with Sociology from University of Ghana, Legon and a Certificate in Digital Marketing, Squared Online with Google.
Jacob Plange- Rhule is currently the Director of HR & Administration, HSSE Department of Surfline Communications Limited and also serves as a Board Director of the company.
Mr. Jacob Plange-Rhule is an Entrepreneur, an astute transformational leader, a Strategic Management and Innovative minded Professional with over eighteen (18) years of experience in Executive Leadership. His professional experience spans across various industries to include: Business Service & Consulting, Telecommunication, Transport, Trade Distribution, Agriculture, Mass Communication and Media. His ethical charisma and expertise has been demonstrated in his respective strategic roles in various organizations as: HR Director/Consultant- Africa Business Media Limited, Business Operations Manager- Planmor Company Limited, Managing & Associate Partner- Asare Odometa Plantations Limited, Managing Partner-SW Logistics, Ag. Greater Accra Regional Sales Manager- Kasapa Telecom, Head: Human Resources/ Ag. Executive Business Operations – Expresso Telecom, HR Consultant - KESAL Company Limited, HR &Operations Director -Chafal Company Limited, and Executive Director of Dabreau Research Limited. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Business from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. He also holds a Graduate Certificate and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Australian Institute of Business, South Australia. He is an alumnus of the Institute of Commercial Management, UK where he obtained two (2) Advanced Diplomas in Business Studies and Commercial Management respectively. He also holds numerous certifications in Human Resources Management; Strategic Management, Project Management, Actuarial/Statistics, Strategic Marketing, Customer Care & Investment Portfolio Advisory (Ghana Stock Exchange). He is also a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners -GH (CIHRMP)and The Institute of Directors (GH) – (IOD). Mr. Jacob Plange-Rhule is a professionally certified HR and Management Practitioner and a member of the Association of Certified Corporate Practitioners in Africa (ACCPA). He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC -GH).

Mr. Mark Anthony Made is the director for Legal and Regulatory Affairs. He has oversight on all legal and regulatory/government dependencies for the business.

Mark is a Solicitor and a Barrister at Law who joined the business with a wealth of experience in Finance, Government and Telecommunications.
Prior to joining Surfline, he was Head of Legal and Regulatory at Helios Towers Ghana Limited, where he was responsible for facilitating land acquisitions for tower erections, ensuring legal and regulatory compliances as required, litigations and management of internal staff legal dependencies. He also worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he held two crucial positions as the Ag. Head, Legal and Enforcement and then Counsel/Board Secretary. In these capacities, he managed and supervised the Legal and Enforcement department in providing general legal advice, served as board secretary and played a pivotal role in the amendment of the Securities Industry Law, PNDL 333. He also acted as Legal Counsel for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, where he processed all Cabinet and Parliamentary approvals of government loans. In collaboration with the Attorney General’s department, he handled litigation cases and provided key legal inputs for private sector reforms and financial institutions.
Mark also worked with the Ghana Commercial Bank and Law Trust as Legal Officer and Associate Practitioner respectively.
Mark holds a Master of Law degree from Erasmus University in Netherlands, a post-graduate Certificate in Corporate and Investment Law from London Guidhall University.
Mr. Eric Akwei is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Mr. Eric Akwei is currently the Head of Design and Planning for Surfline Communications Limited; bringing, over seven (7) years of experience in wireless systems, IP services and Packet-Switched technologies.
He manages two (2) functional units that are responsible for day-to-day activities associated with network rollout planning, enterprise project planning, network security, network mapping & HLD, traffic management, capacity planning and capacity management process, growth planning, technology Capex budgeting.
Prior to joining Surfline he was a packet-switched core network engineer with Glo Mobile Ghana with extensive onshore and offshore trainings in data networks.
He joined Surfline as a planning engineer to coordinate deployment of EPC equipment and integration to third-party Billing and provisioning systems. He was promoted to product and core-planning manager in charge of development of new product and services and subsequently, to Director of Network Planning.
