Revenue Assurance Analyst

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Product Assurance

  • Conduct and document Pre and Post implementation testing of new or updated products and promotions.
  • Implement and document new controls to mitigate possible fraud.
  • Participate in the Product Assurance Process to assess impact of Products on all controls.
  • Perform validation of Enterprise business products and revenue.
  • Ensure Data Assurance Framework Alarms are followed up and properly closed.
  • Put in place a quarterly review of all control designs using a risk-based approach to ensure they are relevant and still mitigating risks.
  • Ensure the Product Catalogue are updated on Monthly basis.

Subscriber and Usage Assurance

  • Ensure EDRs needed for reporting on all products are generated correctly and transported to downstream billing and reporting systems.
  • Ensure only authorized customers are allowed browsing privileges on the intelligence Network (IN)
  • Perform Customer Service Profile Reconciliation and all other relevant platform reconciliations.
  • Implement Network assurance control and network traffic monitoring.
  • Perform subscriber trend analysis (Segmentation, Usage, Churn etc)

Billing & Rating Assurance

  • Investigate and ensure that surfing activities are rated correctly.
  • Perform surfing scenario testing for expectations and subscriber behavior CDR analysis.

Cash and Cost Assurance

  • Implement and monitor Cash Assurance processes and controls.
  • Implement and monitor third party service cost/cash assurance control.

Reporting and Monitoring

  • Implement and monitor third party service cost/cash assurance control.
  • Put in place a daily post monitoring of products in terms of trends and other KPIs and report unusual behavior.
  • Develop, quantify and document root cause analysis(RCA) and fixes for issues identified.
  • Provide commercial/marketing with reports to assist in churn management.
  • Approve, track and document customer incident resolution process relating to revenue and cost-impacting issues within Surfline.
  • Actively seek revenue leakage within Surfline Ghana and work with involved parties to plug leakage and ensure future revenues are assured.
  • Any other task(s) that may be required and assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • University graduate (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Business Insight and Intelligence
  • Exposure to GSM / Telecommunication

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Proficient use of SQL
  • Good working knowledge of relational Databases
  • Data Warehousing/ETL
  • Data Analytics (R, Python, Power BI)
